The Kode Company ("we", "us") builds mobile, web, and desktop software, including Satya. This policy explains what information we collect across our website and apps, and how we handle it. Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell personal data.

• ✦Website: if you email us, we receive the address and message you send. Our website does not use advertising trackers.
• ✦Apps: our apps may collect account information you provide (such as email), your learning progress, and, where a feature requires it, audio recordings you choose to make (for example, pronunciation practice in Satya).

Pronunciation recordings are processed to generate feedback on your pronunciation. Recordings are processed via speech-recognition services solely to provide this feature and are not used for advertising or sold to anyone.

We use a small number of service providers to operate our apps (such as cloud hosting and speech-recognition processing). These providers process data only on our instructions to deliver app functionality, and are contractually required to provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy.

• ✦Where an app supports account creation, you can delete your account and its data from inside the app itself.
• ✦You may also request access to, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by emailing us.
• ✦You can delete practice recordings from within the app where the feature is available.
• ✦We retain data only as long as needed to provide our services.

Our apps and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
